Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama enam hari dari tanggal 3 April 2006 sampai dengan 8 April 2006. Populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah semua rekam medis penderita sinusitis yang berobat dan dirawat inap di bagian Telinga, Hidung, dan tenggorok pada Rumah Sakit RK Charitas Palembang. Desain penelitian yang dipilih adalah penelitian survei deskriptif. Data disajikan dalam bentuk teks, tabel, dan diagram secara deskriptif tanpa melakukan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai penatalaksanaan sinusitis, gejala sinusitis serta distribusi sinusitis. Diharapkan dengan penelitian ini bagi penderita sinusitis dapat lebih mengantisipasi penyakit yang diderita tidak lebih parah dengan terapi yang tepat serta bagi yang bukan penderita sinusitis dapat mengantisipasi segera penyakit ini dengan mengetahui gejala-gejala dari sinusitis.
