Abstract
Stilt House are common form for houses in Nusantara. Stilt house also adaptation form from the geographic and climate situation. The vernacular house become comfortable because the raise the platform and create the space between land and place for living. Palembang has a lot of swap. The stilt house is the perfect form for houses. But the diffrent is the stilt house in Palembang has macro and micro cosmos concept. The different raising platform based on social hierarchy. This is influence by Hindu culture. Architectural transformation takes place when the social hierarchy in common people is not important any more. The globalization thought more influence in social life in Palembang. Limas Gudang proves it. These transformation show us, that the globalization thought already happened a long time ago.
