Abstract

The research is entitled “the influence of family support on achievement motivation of athletes with disabilities in National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia Musi Banyuasin”. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of family support on achievement motivation of athletes with disabilities in National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia Musi Banyuasin. This research uses quantitative associative. The sample in this study amounted to 53 respondents, who were all athletes with disabilities registered in the NPCI organization in Musi Banyuasin regency. The data collection technique used a questionnaire which was carried out directly with a Likert scale. The results of this study are that there is a significant influence between family support on achievement motivation of athletes with disabilities, evidenced by the results of simple linear regression hypothesis testing and using a significant level of 0.5 so that tcount> ttable or 4.675> 2.007 and the result of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 30.03%.
