Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the use of information technology, user participation, and technical ability of users regarding the effectiveness of accounting information systems. This research uses quantitative research by using primary data. The sample of this study includes users of accounting information systems who work in Palembang health centers. A total of 100 users of accounting information systems from 3 large population health centers in Palembang were used as respondents for this study. The analysis method is divided into four, namely data quality test, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination test (R2). The conclusion of the study is that the variables of information technology utilization, user participation, and user technical ability together have a significant influence on the effectiveness of information systems with a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05. Partially, the variables of information technology utilization, user participation and technical ability of users also have a significant influence on the effectiveness of accounting information systems with all significance below 0.05. This shows that the three dependent variables used in this study affect the effectiveness of the accounting information system at the Palembang Health Center.
