Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of work discipline on teacher performance at 26 Public Junior High School of Palembang. The data collected in this research are primary and secondary, using a total of 52 teachers as data samples and implementing the sampling technique with the saturation sampling method. The analytical method applied in this research is a quantitative analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The result shows that work discipline may contribute a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Therefore, the principal needs to give thoughtful attention to each teacher’s work discipline so it may have a good impact on teacher performance to fulfill school demands.
