Abstract

A data processing application is an application that is able to process and collect various data, which will later be used as good information. Dlight Store is one of the youth clothing stores located in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra. The problems faced in the dlight shop, especially in the sales department, are recording sales transaction data which is still done manually, then processing payment data which is complicated and makes it difficult for customers to transact, and making reports that are not well structured. With the above problems, a web-based online sales applicationwill be built. In this online sales application, there are several methods used, namely Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), MySQL databases,and PHP programming language. This system shows that web-based online sales applications can help the process of recording online sales transaction data automatically, processing payment data that is easy for customers to understand, and making well- structured reports.
