Abstract

This research is a research that uses quantitative descriptive method which aims to determine the significant relationship between self-efficacy and self-management variables in students who experience academic procrastination at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. data collection techniques using a Likert scale. The population in this study was 389 students with purposive sampling using the ''purposive sampling'' technique, identified as experiencing academic procrastination with a total of 58 students, the subjects involved in this study were Srijaya Negara Palemnbang High School students. The instrument used is a self-efficacy scale and a self-management scale that is distributed using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used the product moment correlation formula in the SPSS version 22 application. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and self- management rcount > rtable (-0.159 > 0.250). It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient of self-efficacy and self-management is significant, which means that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the self-management and the higher the self- management, the higher the self-efficacy.
