Abstract

The waters of the Sembilang National Park are rich in diversity of fish, shrimp and crab species with high economic value, including mantis shrimp. Preserving mantis shrimp resources will benefit, it is necessary to make an approach that pays attention to social and economic aspects by analyzing the factors that affect the socioeconomic mantis shrimp resources and determining the best socio-economic model for the catch of mantis shrimp resources in Breech and Breech waters. Sembilang National Park waters. The primary data collection method was by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires to fisherman of mantis shrimp and fisherman of other fishery commodities. Factors that affect the socio-economic resources of mantis shrimp are the average price (X1), income (X2), costs (X3), operating trips (X4), age (X5), and business experience (X6).
