Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the Effect of Interactional Teaching Style on the Learning Interest of Class XI Social Studies Students at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The research method used in this research is correlational descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used data normality test, homogeneity test, simple regression linearity test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the t-test performed, it has been obtained tcount 2.64 ttable 2.03, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Testing the determinants to find out how much influence the X variable affects the Y variable, has obtained a result of 17.93% and the rest is influenced by other variables. There is an influence of interactional teaching style on the learning interest of students in class XI IPS at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. In this study, it is recommended and expected that schools can pay attention to the teaching styles applied by educators in the learning process, so that the learning process can run well. And students can also balance the teaching style applied by each educator.
