Abstract
Information in agriculture systems is urgently needed, one in the counting system of fruit on a piece of land. The are several methods that can be used to calculate the amount of fruit, in which this study uses NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and Template Matching NCC (Normalized Cross Correlation). In the process, NDVI is applied distinguish fruit from other objects, where the NDVI calculations will result in a NDVI basic that has a values range between -1 (negative) to 1 (positive). The NCC method has been implemented in the Template Matching in the digital image detection application. The percentage of successfull results from testing the fruits count is 83.33%. Weather conditions, and light intensity levels will affect the results of precision levels in the NDVI process.
