Abstract

Technological developments that are increasingly sophisticated nowadays can affect student discipline behavior, one of which is the use of tiktok which can lead to the emergence of less disciplined behavior in students, especially time discipline and discipline in the learning process both at school and at home. This study aims to provide an overview of the level of disciplinary behavior of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang who actively use tiktok. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population in this study were 308 class XI students who actively used tiktok and the sample used was 174 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The data in this study were collected using a disciplinary behavior questionnaire with a Likert scale type via the Google form. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. Based on the results of research on the level of disciplinary behavior of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang who actively use tiktok, it was found that 13% (22 students) had a high level of disciplinary behavior, 73% (127 students) had a moderate level of disciplinary behavior, and 14% (25 students) have a low level of disciplinary behavior. So, it can be concluded that the level of discipline behavior of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang who actively use tiktok tends to be in the medium category.
