Abstract
Price fluctuation of urea fertilizer can result the difference between the selling price and production costs to be low, or even cause losses. In order to reduce the possibility of loss, a way is needed to predict the price of urea fertilizer in the future. The method used to predict the price of urea fertilizer is a fuzzy time series. The fuzzy time series used is Chen's fuzzy time series which is refined from Song and Chissom fuzzy time series due to the lack of accuracy in predicting data. On the other hand, Lee's fuzzy time series is considered better than Chen's fuzzy time series in terms of accuracy. So that in this study a test was carried out using Chen and Lee's fuzzy time series on urea fertilizer data for the period 2018 - 2021. The test results produced an MSE value of 1187,61 for Lee's Fuzzy Time Series method while for Chen's Fuzzy Time Series it produced an MSE value of 1210,14.
