Abstract
The use of smartphones from year to year is always increasing, with increasing use, the damage to smartphones also increases. The reason is that not all smartphone users are sensitive about damage to smartphones, most of them only realize that the smartphone has suffered very heavy damage, and when it comes to the technician it takes time to identify the damage to the smartphone, an expert system is needed, which is able to operate quickly and has expert knowledge. Case Based Reasoning itself is a method that utilizes past knowledge to deal with new cases, by identifying the symptoms of new cases with the symptoms of old cases. After that, calculate the similarity value of the two cases using the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm. Based on the tests that have been carried out, an accuracy value of 72% is obtained from the 100 data tested. This can be ensured if the expert system goes well.
