Abstract

The purpose of this research was to detennine the effect of supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal toward egg’s physical quality of Pegagan local duck. The research was conducted within two months in experimental laboratory of animal science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from July to September 2016. This research used 60 heads Pegagan local ducks ini4^ month old. The research was established by using completely randomized design which consisted of five (5) group treatment with four (4) replication. The parameters observed in this study were haugh unit value, albumen index, yolk index and yolk color. The study concluded that supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top Leaf meal significantly (P<0,01) affect the yolk color, but not significantly (P>0,05) on the haugh unit value, albumen index and yolk index. Supplementation 4 % Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal improve yolk color amount up to 83,3%.
