Abstract

This study aims to develop animated video learning media based on the Powtoon and Inshot applications on animal classification material based on the type of food for class V SD Negeri 99 Palembang and describe the validity and response of students to learning media. This study uses the Research and Development research method using the Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation stages. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, interviews, validation sheets and response questionnaires. The results of the validation assessment from media experts obtained a value of 95% with a very valid category and validation from material experts obtained a value of 75% with a valid category. The recapitulation of the two validations obtained an average value of 85% with a very valid category. At the implementation stage, individual tests were carried out with 2 students and obtained a score of 100% in the very good category. In the small group test stage with 5 students, a score of 92% was obtained in the very good category. At the field test stage, 26 students obtained a score of 96% in the very good category. at the trial stage the response to the homeroom teacher for class V.a obtained a value of 100%. The results of the recapitulation of the response trial stages amounted to 96%. From the results of the student response questionnaire conducted with the 4 stages, it can be concluded that animated video learning media is included in the very good category as a learning media.
