Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh penggunaan media YouTube terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Pemulutan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian One Group Pretest Post Test Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pemulutan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 34 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes dan observasi melalui pembelajaran secara tatap muka. Teknik analisis data hasil belajar diperoleh dari pretest dan post test serta analisis data observasi diperoleh dari hasil observasi pada saat menggunakan media YouTube dalam pembelajaran. Uji hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan statistik parametris yaitu uji t menggunakan rumus uji t-test sampel berkorelasi diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 18,26 > 2,03452 yang artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media YouTube terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Pemulutan. Diharapkan agar pendidik dapat memperbanyak penggunaan media yang bervariasi dalam pembelajaran dan memaksimalkan penggunaan media YouTube dalam pembelajaran serta peserta didik dapat lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran.
