Abstract

An Automatic Door is a door that opens automatically when approached by someone, and an automatic door is not a door that opens manually with a door handle or bar. Automatic doors today have been widely used and needed by many people. But in the manufacture of automatic doors requires large costs. In this project, a simple Automatic Door Prototype has been designed, this project aims to design a door using a solenoid that opens automatically. The results of the research that has been carried out are designing doors using 2 (two) Ultrasonic sensors as Incoming Sensors and Outgoing Sensors, then using PIR (Passive Infra Red) Sensors as detectors for the presence of objects. Furthermore, if an object is detected on the Incoming Ultrasonic and on the PIR (Passive Infra Red) Sensor, the Selenoid will open automatically and will display the number of people on the LCD screen. Also, if objects are detected on the Ultrasonic Exit and PIR (Passive Infra Red) Sensor sensors, the Selenoid will open automatically and will display the number of people on the LCD screen. The results of this study show that the system that has been created can already be implemented in a room.
