Abstract

The measuring performance using Value for Money method in the context of regional autonomy is interpreted as a connection for government to make a good government that are transparant, economical, efficient, effective, and accountable. Value for Money is a management concept of sector public organization that have three main elements and one additional element namely economically, efficiency, effectivity, equality and also analyzing tax contribution and retribution for locallygenerated revenue. Analysis techniques that used in this research are quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The result from this research showed that the performace of Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah Kabupaten OKU, sees from the economically criteria is in economical classified that has 90.19 percent, from the efficiency criteria is in less efficient because the ratio going up to 5% and it has 12,76%. In terms of equality criteria, known that deployment of tax payment has 38,46% that means the ratio criteria from equality is less evenly. Contribution and retribution tax about regional income has 44%, it means that the enrollments of contribution and retribution has not been a primary source in regional income.
