Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the nutrient status of N, P and K as well as determine specific fertilization recommendations for locations in paddy soil for rice cultivation in Kejadian Village, Bandar Negeri Suoh District, West Lampung Regency. This study used detailed level survey methods with a scale of 1:3000 and laboratory analysis by taking soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm. Soil samples were taken as many as 10 samples where each sample consisted of 5 drilling points which were then composited, each one sample representing 1 ha of land area. The chemical properties of the soil observed were; soil pH, total N, available P, available K and soil KTK. The results of soil pH analysis were classified as very acidic, which ranged from (4,68 to 5,21). Soil Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) is classified as low to moderate (10 - 15 cmol kg-1). The N-total is classified as very low (0,04-0,09%). Available P is classified as very low to low, namely in the ranged (11,00 – 13,33 ppm). Available K is classified as very low, ranged from (0,0012 cmol kg-1 – 0,0019 cmol kg-1). From the results of the analysis, it was found that location-specific NPK fertilizer recommendations for rice plants, namely Urea fertilizer with doses ranged from (156,52 – 178,26 kg ha-1), SP-36 ranged from (0,61 – 103,17 kg ha-1) as well as KCl fertilizer which ranged from (151 – 161,97 kg ha-1).
