Abstract

Question Answering System (QAS) is a research area in natural language processing that aims to help users receive information through a comfortable interface in natural language. Question Answering System requires a database as a source for obtaining information. Currently, free-to-use web-based structured information such as DBpedia is available. The lack of research on an Indonesian Question Answering System that uses DBpedia as a knowledge base and the data presented is in n-triple form, so a special method is needed to access and obtain the desired information. Therefore, research was carried out to develop a closed domain Question Answering System in Indonesia using DBpedia as a knowledge base and SPARQL queries to get answers that can be accessed offline, the Question Answering System developed in this research consists of 4 main processes, namely pre -Text processing, job entity retrieval and place name, SPARQL query formation, and SPARQL query execution. The test results show that the system can return answers properly. The accuracy of the answers obtained reaches 100%.
