Abstract

This research aimed to determine the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and contents of N-NH3 concentrate feed with bioplus probiotic supplementation . This study was conducted from February to March 2014, in the Laboratoiy of Feed and Animal Nutrition Program Study, Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University, Inderalaya, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. This research was conducted with the experimental method. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) which consists of 4 treatments and 4 replications. As for treatment following: P0= concentrate without treatment (control), Pl= concentrate + probiotic bioplus 200 g, P2= concentrate + probiotic bioplus 250 g, P3= concentrate + probiotic bioplus 300 g. The results showed that the dry matter digestibility R0= 27,43%, Rl = 27,63%, R2= 28,50%, R3= 27,91%, and organic matter digestibility of each treatment was R0 = 21.42%, RI = 21.43%, R2 = 22.50%, R3 = 21.59%. As for the concentration of NH3 = 1.01% R0, RI = 1.01%, 1.02% and R2 = R3 = 1.03%. Based on research results that had done can be concluded that supplementation of probiotic bioplus did not influential significantly (P> 0.05) on the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and N-NH3 content.
