Abstract
This study aims was to determine the value of digestibility silage of powdered palm fronds and rice bran supplemented with 2% vitamin B and 2% minerals in vitro including ingredients Dry, Organic Matter, Fiber rude . This research was carried out from August to September 2022 at the Animal Feed Nutrition Laboratory, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 3 replications including silage of palm fronds and rice bran powder as (P0), silage of palm fronds and rice bran powder supplemented with 2% vitamin B complex (P1), silage palm frond powder and rice bran supplemented with 2% mineral mix (P2). Parameters observed were dry matter digestibility (KcBK), organic matter digestibility (KcBO), and fiber digestibility (KcSK) which were analyzed with SPSS software and Duncan's test. The results of this study indicated that the silage of palm frond powder supplemented with 2% vitamin B complex and 2% mineral mix was significantly different, but decreased in the digestibility value of organic matter and crude fiber while increasing the digestibility value of dry matter by 55.92% (P0) to 68.83% (P2).
