Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the in vitro digestibility of swamp forages with supplementation of urea molasses cake and to determine the optimal composition of urea molasses cake. This study used in vitro method, comparing the digestibility of feed by using buffalo rumen fluid. Feed swamp forage and urea molasses cake (urea, molasses, rice bran, tofu, minerals) was used as fermentation substrate. The results of this study slowed that dry matter digestibility (DMD), organic matter digestibility (DMO) and N-NH3 concentration. DMD was influeneed by Urea Molasses Cake composition values ranged from 45,33 to 50,47 %, DMO ranged from 41,11 to 46,07 % while the NNH3 ranging from 16,57 to 19,56 %. Supplementation significantly (P<0,05) higher than without urea molasses cake supplementation. Dry matter and organic matter digestibility of urea molasses cake supplementation not different with DMD and DMO urea cake supplementation but higher than cake supplementation.
