Abstract

This research aim was to study the effect of addition biomineral Zn and probiotic fiber on performance of the female Brahman Cross calf weaning which conducted at the PT. Andira Agro in April to October 2014. This research was used T test for 10 Brahman Cross calfs weaning with an average age 5-8 months. They were divided into two treatments, the first treatment 5 calfs without addition biomineral Zn 0,015 g/kg ration and probiotic fiber 0,5 g/kg ration (control), and the second treatment 5 calfs with addition biomineral Zn 0,015 g/kg ration and probiotic fiber 0,5 g/kg ration. Both of treatments were fed with the same ration. The Parameters observed were feed consumption, rising body weight, body condition score, length body and height body. The result showed that the treatment of addition biomineral Zn 0,015 g/kg ration and probiotic fiber 0,5 g/kg ration significantly improve the performance of consumption from 7,7 kg/day to 8,6 kg/day, rising body weight from 0,34 to 0,61 kg/day, body score condition from 2,55 to 3,45, length body from 99,40 cm to 111,35 cm and height body from 114,20 to 124 cm.
