Abstract

This research aim was to study on the effect of addition mineral zinc and stratified ammoniation of palm fiber on Brahman Cross bulls perfonnance. This research was conducted at the PT. Andira Agro in April 2014 to October 2014. This research was used T Test Statistic for 10 the Brahman Cross bulls with an average age of 1,5-2 years, they were divided into two parts, the first part 5 bulls as control treatment (without addition of mineral Zn as 0,015 g/kg ransum stratified ammoniation of palm fiber. The second part 5 bulls as treatment (with addition of mineral Zn as 0,015 g/kg ransum and stratified ammoniation of palm fiber). The parameters that observed contains of feed consumption, rising body weight, body condition score. The result showed that the treatment addition of mineral Zn 0,015 g/kg ransum and stratified ammoniation of palm fiber could increase the performance of body weight from 0,55 kg/day to 0,8,4 kg/day, consumption from 24,47 kg/day to 25,68 kg/day but it did not increase in body condition score (BCS).
