Abstract
Energy management is an integrated program that is planned and implemented systematically to utilize energy resources effectively and efficiently. The purpose of holding energy management is to save energy and save costs due to rising energy prices, scarcity of energy resources and awareness of the negative effects of over-exploitation of energy on the environment. Energy conservation is effective to offset the need for increased generation capacity. One form of effort to make efficient use of electrical energy through energy conservation is to conduct an energy audit. Energy audit has its own standard, namely SNI 03-6196-2011 concerning Energy Audit Procedures in Buildings. An energy audit is one of the first tasks that must be undertaken in achieving an effective energy cost control program. An energy audit consists of a detailed examination of how energy is used, the costs incurred to pay for that energy consumption, and finally making a program of recommendations for changes in operating practices or energy use equipment that will save costs on energy bills. An Energy Audit has several benefits, including knowing the Intensity of Energy Consumption (IKE), preventing energy wastage and knowing the profile of energy use. In an electrical energy audit there is a direct relationship to the cost of the audit, how much data will be collected and analyzed, and the number of conservation opportunities identified. The audit results that have been obtained include the average IKE value of the room, including 11,9 kWh/m^2 per month and OTTV of 70.953 W/m2. Keywords: Energy Management, Energy Audit, Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE), Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV), Cooling Load .
