Abstract

The Regional Office of the National Defense Agency is one of the government services engaged in the industrial sector of Palembang city where at the end of the accounting period (month) the payroll process is carried out to its employees and makes salary reports as accountability to the head of government services. Processing salaries applied by the agency is still conventional in the sense that it does not yet have a computer-based information system that causes the process of data collection of employees and salary processes often to be late, difficulty in recapitulating data, and efficiency in accessing employee data. The approach method used is a structured approach and the development method uses a prototype model. Analysis tools used are Flowcharts, Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), table relationships and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). This payroll information system will produce management information systems for employee salaries that are calculated based on basic salary, child support, wives, position, and attendance attendance. In addition, the system can print employee reports, absences, salaries, general journals, ledgers needed by the Regional Office of the National Land Agency.
