Abstract

PT. Cinta Manis continues to increase production to achieve the highest target so that the needs of the population in this case sugarcane can met by milling stations. This can be noticed from the sugarcane milling process. The purpose of this study is to make a Detailed Engineering Design (DED) Frame Milling Station reference from Milling Station PT. Cinta Manis so that it can be made a 3D design along with getting the static simulation value of SolidWorks 2018. The frame size designed in 3D is 2735 x 3220 mm and uses ASTM A36 material. Refer to PT. Cinta Manis load of sugarcane for one-time milling worth 3 tons, and the roller load is worth 15 tons. In static simulation, it uses 1 side of the frame from 2 parts the frame side with the direction of the force down, the force placed on the third part of the frame that supports roller and the amount of sugarcane load that enters and the roller load is converted to 29570 N. In the simulation, the von mises value shows the maximum value is 1,812 x 106 N/m2 the smallest value 2,581 x 10-1 N/m2, highest displacement value ,2426 x 10-3 mm, as well as the results of the analysis with the frame material used by ASTM A36 has a yield strength of 2.5 x 108 N/m2 and von mises max number of 1,812 x 106 N/m2, not highest than safety factor value 2,0 – 2,5.
