Abstract

This research was conducted bearing in mind the importance of the implementation of public services provided by ASN as public servants. This study aims to identify Employee Public Service Motivation in the Implementation of Public Services. This research was conducted at the Housing and Settlement Area Office of South Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is a description with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and summaries. The results of this study indicate that the motivation for public service of state civil apparatus employees in the Housing and Settlement Area Office of South Sumatra Province is still not optimal. This is because the dimensions of interest in public policy making and self-sacrifice are still not good enough, although the dimensions of commitment to the public interest and empathy are very good. So that this research is expected to help increase the motivation of public service employees at the Housing and Settlement Area Office of South Sumatra Province.
