Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes in economics class X Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. This research is a quantitative research with cluster random sampling technique. The research sample consisted of all students of class X IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang with a total of 41 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by testing the normality of the data and product moment correlation. The results of the learning style test (X) and learning outcomes (Y) are r 0.4989 with a correlation range of 0.40 – 0.599 which is categorized as moderate. The significant test of the correlation coefficient is t arithmetic > t table (1250.38 > 0.2605), the correlation coefficient between X and Y are significant. Thus the null hypothesis which states that there is a not significant relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes in economics subject class X social studies at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang is not accepted and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded, there is a positive and significant relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes in economics class X Social Studies at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang.
