Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and design an appropriate inventory and sales accounting information system design that can be applied to UMKM Kedai Pempek Kak Ros. This type of research is qualitative research, namely interviews, document analysis, focused discussions, or observation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which consisted of several stages including concept design, physical design, system implementation, operation and maintenance. The results showed that the accounting information system for inventory and sales of merchandise at UMKM Kedai Pempek Kak Ros provided information about user data, customer data, food products, sales data, inventory data, sales reports and inventory reports. The design of an accounting information system for inventory and sales of merchandise at Kedai Pempek Kak Ros SMEs can provide convenience, such as helping cashiers when making transactions, and being able to double-check the transaction process that has been carried out by the cashier, this system is also able to provide reports and details each sales transaction and inventory at the shop.
