Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Working Capital Turnover and Cash Turnover on Profitability in the Cement Industry is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research population is all cement industry companies go public five companies. The sampling technique is purposive based on the criteria so that the selected three companies were selected as of this study. The data used were financial statement of cement industry companies that went public in Indonesia from Desember 31, 2005 – Desember 31, 2021. The data was procesed using panel data regression. The results showed that working capital turnover (WCT) has no effect on return on assets (ROA) while cash turnover (CT) is found to be significant on return on assets (ROA). The implications of research that return on assets (ROA) can be a very important indicator for companies in measuring their financial performance, and can provide significant benefits in improving the company’s financial performance and increasing investor confidence.
