Abstract

The selection of skincare can’t be carelessly despite the rampant offer of facial wash products, so consumers need to choose and there is become a problem for decision makers, so consumers need a long and ineffective process to make decisions. It is necessary to build and develop a decision support system using the TOPSIS method can solve problems effectively and efficiently. Four criteria used are price, packaging, composition, and brand, then this research used 30 facial wash products as data research. The developed system produces recommendation results, namely the best alternative based on the calculation of the TOPSIS method. The system's usefulness is measured by the USE (Usefulness, Satisfaction, Ease of use) Questionnaire method on 32 respondents get the results of the overall percentage value is 77.62% which means that this system is beneficial for users make facial wash selection decisions.
