Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) Measuring the level of the work environment based on workers' perceptions in the rice warehouse section of the Perum BULOG Regional Office of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung, (2) Measuring the level of performance of workers in the rice warehouse section of Perum BULOG Regional Office of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung, (3) Analyze the correlation between the comfort of the work environment and the performance of workers in the rice warehouse division of the BULOG Regional Office of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Regional Offices and this research was conducted at the Rice Warehouse 8 Ilir Perum BULOG Regional Office of South Sumatra and Babel, Palembang City. This location selection is done purposively or intentionally. Data collection was carried out in November 2022. The research method used in this study was a survey method. Sampling samples in this study were daily workers at the rice warehouse 8 Ilir Perum BULOG Palembang City. The sample selection used by simple random sampling method or randomly. The results showed that (1) Based on the results of the analysis using the Likert scale, namely the scoring, the work environment level had a total score of 38.72 with a good description, (2) the performance level of daily laborers had a total score of 32.95 with a very good description, (3) Based on the results of the analysis with the Spearman correlation test, there is a strong correlation between the level of the work environment and the performance of workers, so it can be interpreted that there is a significant, high/strong, and real cor. relation at the level of the work environment and the performance of daily workers
