Abstract
This research is entitled "The Effect of Organizational Communication Climate on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT Pos Indonesia Regional III Palembang".The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of the organizational communication climate on employee job satisfaction and how much influence the organizational communication climate has on employee job satisfaction.The theory used in this study is the Organizational Communication Climate Inventory Theory proposed by Pace and Peterson cited from Pace &Faules (2006: 157-160) and Job Satisfaction Theory proposed by Stephen P. Robbins (1966) quoted from Badeni, (2013: 44).This research method used aexplanatory quantitative method. Data collection techniques are done by distributing questionnaires and observations. Primary data obtained through respondents answers from 62 respondents and secondary data obtained from printed literature and documents regarding company profile and staffing.The results of this study. Shows that the organizational communication climate has a significant influence on employee job satisfaction because it is known that from the value of tcount = 3.845>ttable= 2,000 means that the variable communication climate of the organization has an effect on employee job satisfaction.In this study also obtained the value of determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.198. It can be said that the organizational communication climate variable has an influence of 19.8% on employee job satisfaction. While the remaining value means that 80.2% of the variable work satisfaction is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
