Abstract

This study is entitled "Analysis of Mount Dempo Tourism Promotion Strategies in an Effort to Increase Tourist Visits (Study at the Pagar Alam City Tourism Office)" which aims to find out how the Mount Dempo tourism promotion strategy is in an effort to increase tourist visits by the Pagar Alam City Tourism Office. The type of research used is qualitative research methods. This research was carried out at the Pagar Alam City Tourism Office. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. This research looks at the promotion strategy carried out by the Pagar Alam City Tourism Office using the theory of tourism communication by Burhan Bungin (2015). The results of this study indicate that the potential possessed by Mount Dempo tourism is an attraction for tourists to visit. The promotion implemented by the Pagar Alam City Tourism Office has been carried out well. Keywords: Promotion Strategy, Tourism, Tourists, Mount Dempo
