Abstract

The current Covid-19 has driven faster technological developments, including in the field of education. As an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19, the President of the Republic of Indonesia appealed for learning activities to be carried out online or in a network so that the term e-learning emerged. E-learning or electronic learning is distance learning by utilizing the internet so that it can be done anywhere. Sriwijaya University has adopted moodle-based e-learning since 2010 which will only be fully used in 2020-2022. E-learning can be accessed at https://elearning.unsri.ac.id. Since being used, e-learning has never been analyzed and evaluated for acceptance which should be important to do in order to determine user acceptance of new technology and find out what factors affect user acceptance, so that e-learning can be further developed in the future. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) is used as a model in research. Data processing uses the SmartPLS application and uses SEM-PLS with outer model and inner model testing. The results showed that user acceptance of Sriwijaya University e-learning was included in the high category and Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence had a positive effect on Behavioral Intentions and Facilitating Conditions had a positive effect on Use Behavior. In addition, Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy and Social Influence which is mediated by Behavioral Intention has a positive effect on Use Behavior.
