Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of an evaluation of the coaching program for football athletes during and after the Covid-19 pandemic at the East Oku Regency Persotim club. This study used a qualitative approach with an evaluation method using the CIPP model. It will be held at PERSOTIM, East Oku Regency for the 2021 and 2022 periods. Participants were taken randomly with a sample of football players in PERSOTIM, totalling 30 athletes, 4 coaches and 2 officials from the All Indonesian Football Association of OKU East Regency. Data collection was carried out through observation techniques, documents, interviews and questionnaires. The process of data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely the stages of data reduction, data presentation, discussion and conclusion. The results of the data analysis show that the context and input aspects are considered good, while the process and product aspects need to be improved. The context aspect needs to be improved on the target aspects to be achieved in the objectives of the coaching program. The input aspect for the reception system, coaches and athletes already have a good standard. The part that must be considered in conducting coaching is the development of the athlete's character. The process aspect shows that the monitoring process is not yet systemized and there is no special team to monitor the coaching program. The results of the data analysis concluded that overall the football coaching program at the Persotim club had been carried out according to the situation that occurred, namely during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal period as a situation of adjusting human activities outdoors.
