Abstract
This qualitative research aims to analyze the management of fixed assets using the asset life cycle management approach at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Ogan Ilir Regency. Data is collected through documentation, observation, and interviews with officials/employees involved in managing fixed assets. The analysis was carried out by comparing the condition of fixed asset management at the BPKAD of Ogan Ilir Regency with the stages of the asset life cycle consisting of aspects of strategy, planning, evaluation, procurement, operation, maintenance, development, and disposal. The results of the study show that the stages of fixed assets and the life cycle of assets are not implemented as comprehensively as in the maintenance aspect. In its management, there are still old and damaged labeling code blanks and there is still no goods maintenance card. Based on the research conducted, it is recommended that BPKAD need to replace old and damaged labeling codes with new code blanks and make goods maintenance cards in accordance with predetermined rules.
