Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial motivation on interest in entrepreneurship in mechanical engineering eduation students of FKIP UNSRI. This rearch is an associative research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 81 mechanical engineering education studens. Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis to find out how much influence the independent variables have on the variables. Based on the results with a coefficient of determination of 35.1% and the rest is influenced by other factors, a significance value of 0.000 <0. 05 and the t-count value of 6.531 <1.990 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so that it can be concluded that the entrepreneurial motivation variable (X) influences the entrepreneurial interest variable (Y).
