Abstract

Air Conditioner (AC) has the mainfunction of conditioning the air to create more comfortable atmosphere in the rootn.The energt usoge oJ'air conditioner is very large, One way that can help to improte fficiency is to regulctte the temperature of air conditioner so as to get the optimal temperature in a room. The temperature of air conditianer can be adjusted according to the {tmount of movernent intensity in a raom. So when there is a significant movement, the temperature on the air conditioner will go down and rise u,hen it does not detect qny movement. To get the optimal temperature of a room, we can use Fuzzy Sugeno calculalion method. Human mavement intensity and detected room temperature will be the input variables in Fuzzy Sugeno method. By experimenting on the PIR sensor to detect the intensity of human movement and DHTI I sensor to detect the room tempernture, we con determine the input range for the Fuzzy method ,u,hich then after fuzzification process the optimal temperature of the room can be obtained. Fuzzy calculation can be done in Arduino code so that the optimum temperatw'e can be directly implemented on the air conditioner.
