Abstract

This research is motivated by the fine motor development of children at the age of (4-5) years has not developed according to their age, namely the lack of children's ability to coordinate their eyes and hands to carry out activities. This study aims to determine the effect of button board media on fine motor development of Tk A children aged (4-5) years at Paud Taam Muhajirin Palembang, this research is a pre-experimental design method with a One shot case study research design. The subjects of this study were Tk A children totaling 11 children consisting of 6 boys and 5 girls. The object studied was children's fine motor activities by coordinating the eyes and hands. The data collection techniques used were action tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the T-test which obtained a t-count value of 8.58 and in the t-distribution table with a significant 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) 10 so that a t-table value of 1.81 was obtained. So the tcount value of 8.58 ≥ t table 1.81 from the calculation results stated H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of button board media on the fine motor development of kindergarten A children aged (4-5) years in Paud Taam Muhajirin Palembang.
