Abstract

PT Mustika Indah Permai merupakan perusahaan swasta yang bergerak dalam bidang pertambangan batubara. Kegiatan penambangan dilakukan pada wilayah penambangan pit Sungkai menggunakan sistem tambang terbuka dengan metode shovel and truck. Target produksi batubara pada bulan Maret 2022 adalah 232.385,55 ton/bulan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui produksi aktual dari alat gali muat dan alat angkut pada kegiatan penggalian batubara, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi, dan menganalisis peningkatan produksi setelah dilakukan optimasi pada kegiatan penggalian batubara di perusahaan. Nilai produksi aktual excavator Hitachi ZX870 dan alat angkut dump truck Sany SKT90S Manual Transmission masing-masing 275.123,08 ton/bulan dan 200.156,64 ton/bulan, sehingga ketercapaian target produksi di pit Sungkai hanya mencapai 86,13%. Berdasarkan upaya perbaikan yang telah dilakukan maka didapat nilai produksi teoritis hasil perbaikan untuk alat gali muat excavator dan alat angkut dump truck masing-masing sebesar 304.060,11 ton/bulan dan 244.253,23 ton/bulan dengan ketercapaian produksi meningkat menjadi 105,11%.
