Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) to analyze the difference in the income of rubber farmers during the "Covid-19" pandemic and the new normal era in Semeteh Village, Muara Lakitan District, Musi Rawas Regency, 2) to analyze the level of farmer welfare seen from the standard of Decent Living Needs (KHL) in during the "covid-19" pandemic and the new normal era in Semeteh Village, Muara Lakitan District, Musi Rawas Regency. This research was carried out in Semeteh Village, Muara Lakitan District, Musi Rawas Regency. The location selection was done purposively (purposive). Data collection was carried out from November to December 2022. The research method used in this research is a survey method. The sampling method used in this study was Simple Random Sampling with a total of 48 sample farmers. The results of this study are that there is a difference in the income of farmers during the "covid-19" pandemic and the new normal era in Semeteh Village, with the average income of farmers during the "covid-19" pandemic of IDR 15.198.692while the average income farmers in the new normal era of IDR 22.181.408 The level of farmer welfare is obtained from the sum of rubber farming income, non-rubber farming income and non-farming income. there was an increase in the level of welfare of farmers during the new normal era. This was caused by an increase in farmers' income during the new normal era.
