Abstract
In Indonesia, disability is still a matter for individuals with disabilities. Disability is better understood as a matter of health and social services, so that its handling does not yet cover all cross-sectors. Disability issues are the duty and responsibility of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia for treatment and care as well as social services and rehabilitation. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods which aimed to gain an understanding of the survival strategies of women of productive age with disabilities in meeting their daily needs. This study used a qualitative research method, meaning that the data obtained in this study were not in the form of numbers but in the form of interview scripts, research documents, field notes, researcher notes, and other official supporting documents Active, passive and network strategies sewing, handicrafts and cosmetology salons. The skills possessed by women with disabilities at the Bina Daksa Social Institution (PSBD) Palembang, in addition to increasing knowledge, honing skills and providing provisions for the future, these skills activities also generate income or income from their own business without having to ask for mercy from hers Keywords: Expertise, Strategy, Training, Education
