Abstract
This research objectives are to measure farmer's perception towards Wajah Desa Show that broadcasted by Citra Atlas Radio, to measure farmer's knowledge at red chile farming, and to analyze correlation between farmer's perception and farmer's knowledge on red chile farming at B. Srikaton village Tugumulyo district Musi Rawas subdistrict. The data has been collected on August till September 2004 at B. Srikaton village. The research method that is used in this research is survey method, while the method which is used to take sample is Simple Random Sampling. Data was described by scoring to some indicators of perception and knowledge farmers variables, and then correlation between those variables was analized by Spearman Rank Correlation Coefisien Analysis. The result of this research shows that farmer's perception and knowledge toward Wajah Desa were hight categoies, with avarage score 13.43 (score range 5-15.00), and 15.10 (score range 6-18.00) respectively. By Spearman Rank Correlation Coefisien Test showed that there's significan correlation (by rs=0.784; p=0.95) between farmer's perception toward Wajah Desa that broadcasted by Citra Atlas Radio with farmer's knowledge on red chile farming at B. Srikaton village Tugumulyo district Musi Rawas subdistrict.
