Abstract

This research is entitled "Implementation of E-Government in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Province (Study of the Use of Integrated Hajj Information and Computerized Systems (SISKOHAT) in the Process of Delegating Hajj Pilgrim Portion Numbers at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Province)". This is motivated by the application of E-Government besides the need, both the central government and local governments for an integrated system. The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Province has implemented the concept of E-Government, an integrated system in improving Hajj services by the minister of religion by using SISKOHAT. 8 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Hajj and Umrah Pilgrimage. This study aims to determine the application of E-Government in the use of SISKOHAT in the regional offices of the ministry of religion to improve Hajj services and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors by using the theory of indrajit elements of E-Government success in the form of support, capacity and value. The research method is the qualitative with data collection techniques namely, observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research findings, it shows that the implementation of E-Government in the use of SISKOHAT in the regional office of the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Province has been maximized in its application because there are already regulations that underlie the course of the program/policy set by the government, in terms of human resources there is a special implementation team and operators systems in operating SISKOHAT as well as adequate information technology infrastructure but there are still factors that hinder sometimes internet access network interruptions. Suggestion It is hoped that the head of the haj and umrah management sector will improve network infrastructure in the form of an internet access network that is still experiencing problems so that prospective pilgrims who come do not have to wait too long for the service process through SISKOHAT
