Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss and analyze the Opportunities and Challenges related to the One Channel System in the context of PMI security to Saudi Arabia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analytic method. While the data sources obtained in this study are Primary and Secondary data sources with data collection techniques through interviews with the Riyadh Labor Attache online using the zoom meeting platform. In this study, the authors use the theory of International Regime Compliance which consists of three dimensions, namely: Outputs (policies implemented), in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of One Channel System Cooperation and implementation of these policies. There are also Outcomes (Changes in government behavior), namely Providing Better Services for PMI through SPSK. However, the progress is still being seen because it is still at the Pilot Project level. And the last one is Impacts (results/impact), Increasing PMI Protection as well as opening opportunities for decent work opportunities. However, there is still the potential for non-procedural PMI violations and the potential for supply and demand imbalances in SPSK. So that it takes a strong commitment and seriousness from both countries so that it can run consistently and be able to prevent an increase in the list of PMI complaints in the placement country.
