Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning through the Google Classroom application in increasing students' understanding of concepts at UPT SMA Negeri 10 Ogan Ilir. Research using descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research population is all students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 366 students with a sample of 181 people using a probability sampling technique of the proposionate stratified random sampling type on the basis of the theory developed by Isaac and Michael. Data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaires. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of learning through the Google Classroom application in increasing students' conceptual understanding at UPT SMA Negeri 10 Ogan Ilir is categorized as moderate. This is known based on the results of the questionnaire data, namely as many as 28 (15.49%) respondents have a relatively low level of effectiveness, 123 (67.95%) of respondents have a relatively moderate level of effectiveness, and 30 (16.56%) have a high level of effectiveness.relatively high.
