Abstract
Abstract This study contains data on the role of Srivijaya inscriptions in explaining the political, social, religious, and economic life of the Srivijaya Kingdom. This research has been carried out and applied in Class X Science 1 in SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. This research is a type of development research that uses the Hanafin & Peck development model. The problem formulation in this research is “how to develop multimedia-based Libreoffice Impress in history subjects in class X Palembang valid SMA 4, and how to develop multimedia based Impress Libreoffice based on history subjects in Class X SMA Negeri 4 Palembang have impact effectiveness. The influence of multimedia-based LibreOffice impress on historical subjects is seen in the increase in learning outcomes of students before and after using learning media in the field trial stage by 36.57% with an N-gain of 0.7. This shows LibreOffice Impress based Multimedia has a valid value and effectiveness. Keyword: History learning; libreoffice impress; multimedia development; Sriwijaya inscription.
